Loungers plc is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Visto Lounge, a local cafe bar. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring every dish leaving the pass is proudly prepared and to spec. The role offers up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, and staff meals from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Ability to work quickly with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure prep is ready.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Follow allergen processes and keep the kitchen compliant and safe.
• Support wider kitchen team and help newer chefs develop.
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure each plate is presented proudly.
