Job summary

Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Molino Lounge, a local café bar. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, helping the team deliver great shifts and ensuring each dish leaves the pass to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Experience as Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie or Senior Chef seeking progression.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen with high standards.
• Strong knowledge of allergens and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and ensure daily prep is ready.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section: prep, mise en place, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times.
• Follow allergen processes to keep the kitchen compliant and safe.
• Support and develop junior team members; share knowledge and confidence building.
• Know dish specs inside out and ensure every plate leaves with pride.
