Temper Restaurants in London is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team, offering hands-on development in a bold, live-fire cooking environment.

You’ll support senior chefs, lead during service, maintain high standards, manage cleanliness and safety, and help with ordering and stock control. The role suits a chef ready to take the next step in a lively restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Food hygiene qualification is an advantage.
• Positive hands‑on approach with the ability to stay calm during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen.
• Help lead, motivate and train the brigade during service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety and health and safety requirements.
• Assist with ordering, stock control, preparation and minimising food waste.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs.
