Megan’s Restaurants in London is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to support the Sous and Head Chefs, run a section during service, and uphold the high standards that define Megan’s kitchen.

You’ll thrive in a busy service, lead by example, coach junior staff, and ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets recipes, specs, and presentation. This role offers progression across our growing group and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step and lead by example.
• Strong kitchen experience and ability to run a section.
• Skills, organisation and standards to take on more responsibility across the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef to run brilliant services and lead when needed.
• Ensure every dish meets Megan’s recipes, specs and presentation standards.
• Keep kitchen organized and service moving under pressure, communicating clearly.
• Coach Commis Chefs and CDPs on shift, sharing knowledge and feedback.
• Assist with stock, ordering and waste; understand impact on the business.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and prep across the kitchen.
• Lead by example on food safety, allergens, hygiene and health & safety.
