Job summary

Eden Hotel Collection is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the senior kitchen brigade, supervise the kitchen, organise workload and delegate to junior staff. You will lead in the Sous Chef’s absence and drive self-development and teamwork to deliver Rosette-standard dishes.

You will bring experience as a Chef de Partie or similar, a passion for ethically sourced produce, and strong timekeeping and organisational skills to ensure top-quality service and a cohesive kitchen operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or similar in a professional kitchen.
• Passion for high-quality, ethically sourced produce and delivering Rosette-standard food.
• Ability to lead a section and assist in service, with strong timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Team player with ability to work under pressure and support the brigade.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise kitchen staff; organize workload and delegate tasks.
• Support Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Lead the kitchen in the Sous Chef's absence and promote self-development.
• Motivate staff and uphold positive behaviour within the brigade.
