Job summary

Eden Hotel Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our senior kitchen brigade. You will supervise the kitchen, organise workload, and delegate to junior staff, stepping in to lead when the Sous Chef is away.

You will be proactive in development and maintain a professional standard while promoting teamwork and high performance. Commitment to meals that reflect rosette standards is essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate has credible experience in a professional food environment as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• A passion for food and ethically sourced produce, with pride in delivering to the plate.
• Ability to lead a section and other chefs, with strong timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Potential, commitment, and ability to work under pressure are highly valued alongside knife-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the kitchen brigade and support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily operations.
• Organise workload, delegate tasks, and lead in the Sous Chef's absence.
• Encourage self-development and the growth of junior kitchen staff.
