Job summary

Arcado Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help deliver great shifts, and ensure every dish leaves the pass to a high standard.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals on every shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. A great next step for an experienced Chef de Partie or Senior Chef looking to grow, with career development opportunities across our growing brand.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (hot and cold prep, cleaning, knife skills, hygiene).
• Self-motivated and able to work at pace with limited supervision.
• Naturally team-oriented, leads from the front and cares about the food that goes out.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and prep for each day.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
