Loungers is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Brezo Lounge, a local café bar. Earn up to £13.30 per hour plus tips, with paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one.

You’ll support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, keep the kitchen organised, ensure dishes go out to spec, and help junior teammates grow. This role suits someone stepping up from Chef de Partie or Senior Chef who wants more responsibility across England and Wales sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Ability to work at pace with limited supervision.
• Know allergen processes and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards.
• Own your section and manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
• Follow allergen processes to ensure compliance.
• Support and help newer chefs develop their skills and confidence.
• Know dish specs and ensure every plate leaves to spec.
