Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club in Warwickshire is seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the Truly Talented kitchen team. You will manage day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality food.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will help develop menus, assist with purchases, mentor junior chefs, and uphold cleanliness, hygiene and health and safety standards. Free meals on shift and progression opportunities are available.

Formación

Junior Sous Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations experience.
Ability to develop new dishes and menus.
Experience in cost control and food purchasing.
Experience mentoring junior chefs in a brigade.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety.

Responsabilidades

Assist Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
Assist Head Chef in food purchases while controlling costs
Prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality.
Support, mentor and train any talented junior chefs in the brigade
Ensure you and your team have the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety.
