Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is assisting a popular country pub in the Cotswolds to recruit a Head Chef. You will lead a busy kitchen, mentor the brigade, and develop a fresh seasonal menu that appeals to locals and tourists.

The role offers off-site accommodation with/without live-in, and a £54k package comprising £45k base salary plus £9k tips. Strong kitchen leadership and GP costing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently working as Head Chef or Sous Chef aiming to step up.
• Excellent communicator with strong people skills.
• Experience with fresh, seasonal menus and GP costing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the brigade, ensuring high standards of food quality.

Our client is recruiting a Head Chef for their popular country pub serving a fresh seasonal menu based in the Cotswolds. This is an opportunity for a Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef to take the next step in their career and manage an already popular and busy property with both locals and tourists. The property serves all freshly prepared food with a Modern Seasonal Menu and daily specials.

The Role

Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House Team
Producing Fresh Cooked Food using seasonal products
Manage, Coach, Train and develop the brigade
Implement new menu ideas and keep focused on customer trends
Managing GP targets

Experience of working with all fresh food
Good Kitchen manager
