Qualifications

• 13 years of PLC programming experience (any language considered).
• Ideally 1+ year in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Able to support machine programming, installation, configuration and fault finding.

Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, UK

37.5 hours | Flexible Start / Finish | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Responsibilities

• Support the programming, modification and optimisation of PLC‑controlled machinery on site
• Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting and improving production processes
• Learn and develop in ABB Rapid (no prior Rapid experience needed – full training provided)
• Ensure machinery and automated systems run efficiently, safely and reliably
• Work hands‑on at the heart of the manufacturing environment, supporting continuous improvements

Qualifications

• 13 years PLC programming experience (any language considered)
• Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Omron, ABB etc.
• Ideally 1+ year in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Able to support machine programming, installation, configuration and fault finding
• Keen to learn, progress and eventually step into a more lead‑oriented role
• Comfortable working on site and close to the shop floor (this is not a remote role)
