Overview

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to work as a Junior IT Administrator. Within this role you will be expected to provide full IT support and take ownership of the company's IT systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who is early in their IT career to carve out a long term career.

The IT Graduate Role

This is a standalone, office-based position where you'll be responsible for providing full IT support across the company. You'll work closely with multiple departments and be the go-to person for all IT-related queries, making this a great opportunity to take real ownership of IT within the business.

  • Being the first point of contact for any IT-related issues across the business
  • Setting up and maintaining company laptops, desktops, printers, and other devices
  • Installing and updating software, and keeping systems running smoothly
  • Supporting and managing the company's main business system (ERP)
  • Setting up new starters
  • Working with third-party suppliers when external IT support is needed
  • Helping teams across the business with any tech-related needs
  • Keeping basic documentation up to date
The Ideal IT Administrator Candidate

This role would suit someone who is eager to learn, and has a genuine interest in IT. You should be comfortable working with others, solving problems, and communicating clearly with different teams. A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks are key. Some knowledge of IT systems would be helpful, and any relevant studies or certifications in areas like computer science, networking, or Microsoft technologies will be a bonus. You\'ll also need a full UK driving licence, as occasional travel may be required.

A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Networks, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with certifications such as IOSH, Cisco ECMS1 & ECMS2, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals will be highly regarded.
