Capital One (Europe) plc in Nottingham is seeking a Junior Finance Cost Business Partner to support Shared Services with end-to-end FP&A tasks. You will help deliver accurate month-end activity, develop the outlook and budget reports, and communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders.

The role involves partnering with senior FP&A managers and business leads, using OneStream, Workday, GSuite, and Microsoft Office. The office operates on a hybrid model with a 3 in-office/2 remote pattern.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven thinking.
• High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for monthly BAU processes.
• Willingness to develop coding skills and leverage AI in FP&A tasks.
• Strong communication to build relationships with junior and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously while guiding management when needed.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and simplify financial and non-financial data.
• Build relationships with Finance and business stakeholders to contextualize numbers.
• Collaborate to produce monthly outlooks and annual budgets, highlighting risks/opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end activity including journals and variance analysis.
• Identify efficiency gains and automate monthly processes.
• Partner with senior FP&A managers on cross-department projects and investments.
