Job summary

Circle National Enquiry Centre in Glasgow is seeking a Junior IT EUC Engineer to provide first-line EUC support for end-user devices and incidents. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours, with a flexible shift pattern and a salary up to £27,500 per year.

The successful candidate will join the Group IT department and help manage EUC devices across the estate, covering joiner/mover/leaver activities, device refreshes, deployments and end-user support.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3 or IT apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing.
• Experience in IT support or EUC environment (Service Desk, Desktop Support, Field Support or Workplace Technology).
• Experience supporting Windows-based devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience providing remote and/or desk-side support in a customer-focused environment.
• Awareness of endpoint management, device administration and remediation concepts.
• Experience following IT support processes and maintaining accurate ticket, asset and support records.
• Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to elevate complex issues.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line EUC support for end-user devices, incidents and service requests.
• Take ownership of tickets and progress to resolution; escalate when required.
• Support EUC endpoint configuration across the estate including patching and device health issues.
• Follow baselines, remediation instructions and security requirements.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of EUC devices and site changes.
• Coordinate device deployments, collections and logistics.
• Record incidents and asset changes in ITSM systems.
• Support EUC projects, migrations, upgrades and deployments.
• Collaborate with Clinical IT, Security, Service Desk and site teams.
