Anglian Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a highly respected electrical contractor in Norwich, who are experiencing continued growth and now seeking an ambitious Junior Electrical Project Manager to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their electrical career, gaining real project management experience across commercial, industrial and new-build schemes. You'll be supported by a strong management team and will have clear progression into a full Project Manager role.

If you have electrical knowledge, experience on site, and a hunger to develop into project delivery — this is the role for you.

The Role

As a Junior Electrical Project Manager, you will support the senior project team with the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of electrical projects across the Norfolk region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling and organisation
  • Supporting the management of electricians and subcontractors
  • Attending site meetings and progress reviews
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring works meet H&S and compliance standards
  • Reading and understanding electrical drawings
  • Assisting with procurement of materials and equipment
  • Providing updates on project progress, timelines and documentation
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to quality standards and within budget

This role offers a blend of office, site and client-facing work, with plenty of variety and learning opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We want to hear from candidates with:

  • Background in electrical installation, estimating, supervision or similar
  • Understanding of electrical systems and drawings
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine desire to progress
  • Full UK driving licence

Ideal but not essential:

  • SSSTS / SMSTS
  • 18th Edition
  • Previous junior PM or supervisor experience
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent

If you have site experience and want to grow into project management, you will be fully trained and supported.
