Job summary

UK Power Networks Services is seeking a Junior Civil Design Engineer to join the Heathrow office. You will support civil and structural design for critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant designs for electricity network assets.

As part of the team, you will contribute to documentation, assist in third‑party assessments, and engage with clients and suppliers to explore innovative solutions that enhance project success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering and strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Autodesk design software.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from initial design through to construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with civil, structural and electrical engineers, CAD specialists and quantity surveyors to produce safe, compliant and cost-effective designs.
• Contribute to technical and procurement documentation and assist in the assessment of third-party works.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to explore new engineering solutions that drive innovation.
