Job summary

UK Power Networks Services in Heathrow is seeking a Junior Civil Design Engineer to deliver civil design excellence across the portfolio. You will work under supervision, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and progress designs to commissioning while adhering to UK standards.

The role requires a graduate civil engineer with knowledge in civil/structural design, substations experience is preferred, and a commitment to working five days a week at Heathrow.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate civil engineer with civil/structural design experience.
• Experience on designs related to electrical substations and power distribution is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and clear written/oral communication.
• Knowledge of AutoDesk Civil design and building services is expected.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil/structural designs for tendering, construction and commissioning.
• Prepare technical, commercial and contractual documents for procurement.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers and clients to deliver projects.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, regulations and safety requirements.
