Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or display a real passion for food.
• Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes per head/sous chef recipes and standards; ensure food safety at all times.
• Station Management – oversee production of all food items at your station and keep area supplied and clean.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all food handled, focusing on presentation and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all team members and support colleagues.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – keep the kitchen clean and equipment in good working order.
