Job Description

HOPE not hate are looking for a freelance journalist/researcher to join the Research Team’s Reform UK Monitoring Unit for three months to work on a specific report. The role will include:

  • Monitoring, researching and publishing relevant articles and reports about Reform UK.
  • Working with teams across HOPE not hate to ensure they have relevant information for campaigns.
Role Requirements

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Someone passionate about opposing the far right and hate in all its forms. Being able to demonstrate a knowledge of Reform UK or the far right would be helpful.
  • Someone with excellent research, investigative and journalistic skills.
  • Someone with excellent writing skills. You will be required to write and publish.
  • Someone with an interest in online research and open-source intelligence techniques is a bonus.
  • Someone who is proactive, innovative and intelligent and is able to work fast and independently.
  • Someone who can demonstrate emotional resilience when working on a tough issue in a high pressure climate.
