Job summary

A community support organization in Tranent is seeking a support worker for a teenager with autism and ADHD. The ideal candidate will help with activities like football and swimming, encourage participation, and must be prepared to use their own vehicle. Qualifications

Job Summary

Teenager with autism and ADHD in Tranent looking for support worker to help him attend activities. Looking for a patient, enthusiastic person who can encourage the lad whilst also participating with him in a wide range of pursuits. He enjoys football, rugby, cycling, swimming, gym, bowling, cinema, go-karting and playing drums.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Some knowledge of autism and ADHD
  • Experience of helping people with those conditions
  • Willingness to use own vehicle at work (driver)
  • Essential: PVG membership or willingness to join
Compensation

Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour.

Hours & Schedule

The post is for seven hours per fortnight consisting of one shift on a Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday. Shifts to be arranged but some flexibility required.
