Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking a Jira Administrator to administer and configure Jira Software and Jira Service Management (JSM) environments in Windsor. You will create and manage projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, issue types and permissions to support IT and business processes.

You will design and optimise Jira workflows, configure Jira Service Management including request types, queues and approvals, and develop dashboards, reports and filters to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Administer and configure Jira Software and Jira Service Management (JSM) environments.
Create and manage projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, screens, issue types and permissions.
Design and optimise Jira workflows to align with business and IT processes.
Configure Jira Service Management including request types, queues, SLAs, portals and approvals.
Develop Jira dashboards, reports and filters to provide meaningful operational insights.
Configure Jira Automation to streamline repetitive processes and improve efficiency.
Manage user access, roles, groups and permissions.
Support Jira integrations with tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, GitHub, Azure DevOps and CI/CD platforms.
Troubleshoot Jira configuration, performance and user-related issues.
