Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Jira Cloud administration and configuration – essential.
• Experience designing and implementing Jira workflows.
• Experience with ScriptRunner.
• Good knowledge of Atlassian REST APIs.
• Experience with bulk updates, integrations and API-based automation.
• Confluence administration and integration experience.
• Experience with Jira reporting, dashboards and advanced configuration.
• Experience assessing or implementing Atlassian AI capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to challenge requirements constructively and suggest improvements.
• A proactive approach with fresh ideas to improve the Atlassian platform.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Jira Cloud across a complex environment.
• Design and implement Jira workflows and processes.
• Build and maintain Jira Automation solutions.
• Use ScriptRunner to extend Jira functionality.
• Develop and manage integrations using Atlassian REST APIs.
• Carry out bulk updates and data management through APIs and automation.
• Administer and integrate Confluence.
• Develop dashboards, reports and advanced Jira configurations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual effort.
• Assess and implement Atlassian AI capabilities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Challenge requirements where appropriate and recommend alternatives.
• Troubleshoot issues and act as a technical problem solver.
• Bring fresh ideas and continuously look for ways to improve the Atlassian platform.
