Job Opportunity: Catering Assistant – JCA Condover Hall

Location: Condover Hall, Shrewsbury

Contract Type: Seasonal Full or Part Time (26th January to October 2026, includes weekends and early prostoru shifts)

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll support our catering team with the preparation and service of meals for guests and staff. This close opportunity er to work in a fast‑paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential. You’ll be expected to work a variety of shifts including some weekends, typically between 6:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m. or 11:15 a.m.–7:45 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

Food Service & Preparation

• Serve meals to guests and staff.
• Assist прием with basic food preparation (e.g., cereals, salad bar, drinks).
• Store and rotate food correctly in line with HACCP regulations.

Cleanliness & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including trays, bins, and floors.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Follow all allergen procedures.

Team Support

• Assist with unpacking and storing deliveries.
• Support other departments (e.g., housekeeping) during busy periods.
• Greeting guests in the Canteen.

Essential Skills & Experience

• An interest in catering and/or hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Hard‑working with a genuine desire to make our guests happy.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is desirable but not essential.
