J3577 – Business Development Manager, Hard Assets – UK, England (Flexible Remote) – Asset Finance

New Leaf Search has partnered with an international provider of B2B financial solutions in its search for a Business Development Manager.

Excellent salary, bonus and benefits. Location: UK, England – Flexible (preferably South of Leeds and East of Bristol; Remote).

Key Accountabilities
  • Identify, acquire and develop new business across hard asset sectors including Construction, Transportation and Manufacturing Equipment.
  • Generate new prospects through client visits, outbound activity, social media engagement, personal networks and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a qualified target list of new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team to identify suitable suppliers, manufacturers and customers that support targeted growth.
  • Conduct sales meetings (in-person and virtual) to progress opportunities and drive conversion.
  • Deliver sales and product training to assigned accounts to support penetration across key asset types.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Person Specification
    • Strong commercial understanding of the financing industry, ideally gained within Asset Finance or aligned equipment sectors.
    • In-depth knowledge of financial products including leases, HP and loans.
    • Proven track record in new business development, pipeline cultivation and deal management.
    • Self-driven, results-focused and experienced in hard-asset markets.
    • Strong negotiation skills with senior stakeholders; collaborative team player.
    • Strong grasp of sales processes, customer behaviours and IT systems.
    • High integrity, strong business ethics and professional communication skills.

    We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
    You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.
