Job summary

Algolia in London is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our go-to-market team, owning technical pre-sales, demonstrating product capabilities, and building prototypes with customer engineers.

You will translate complex tech into business value for CTOs and product leaders, partner with Account Executives and Solution Architects, and contribute to content and internal enablement to help customers succeed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (SE/SA/consultant) in SaaS.
• Experience with front-end and back-end tech stacks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales teams and prospects on evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
• Understand and qualify customer goals with KPIs and articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them.
• Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, POC, RFP responses & business justification.
• Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
• Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Continuously learn and update skills and industry trends in Search and Discovery, contributing to thought leadership.
• Work with Solution Architects and Customer Success on seamless post-sales transition for onboarding.
