Job summary

Algolia is seeking experienced Solutions Engineers to join a hyper-growth team. You will own the technical pre-sales relationship, demonstrate product capabilities, and build prototypes with customer engineers using Algolia’s APIs.

You’ll translate complex tech concepts into clear business value for diverse audiences. In collaboration with Sales and Solutions partners, you will drive revenue, customer adoption, and best practices, while advocating for customer needs with Product and Engineering

Qualifications

• Fluent German language skills.
• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (SE/SA/consultant/PM).
• Experience with front-end: JavaScript/TypeScript/React and back-end: Java/Ruby/Go/Node/Python/Swift.
• Familiarity with data formats and data transformation.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
• Understand and qualify customer goals with KPIs and articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them.
• Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, POC, RFP responses & business justification.
• Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
• Distill and advocate customer interests and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Continually learn industry trends in Search and Discovery and contribute to thought leadership.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success for seamless post-sales onboarding.
