Job summary

Salford City College in Eccles is seeking an IT Technician to be the first point of contact for technical IT support across services. The role involves delivering IT facilities and ensuring high-quality customer service for students and staff.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of PCs, tablets and Microsoft Windows, with ITIL experience preferred and a BTEC Higher level in an IT-related subject. The position may require covering other centres within the College.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of PCs, tablets and Microsoft Windows.
• Experience of IT service delivery support, preferably in an ITIL environment.
• BTEC Higher level (or equivalent) in an IT related subject.

Responsibilities

• Be a first point of contact for technical IT support.
• Deliver and prepare IT facilities and services.
• Be based at Eccles Centre with potential to cover other centres.
