Job summary

Eccles Sixth Form College is seeking an IT Technician to be the first point of contact for IT support across the college network. The role is based at Eccles Centre with potential cover at other centres as required, and a 36-hour week.

You will support delivery of IT services, ensuring effective customer service for students and staff and preparing IT facilities for use. A good knowledge of PCs, tablets and Windows is essential, with ITIL experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of PCs, tablets and Microsoft Windows.
• Experience delivering IT support services.
• Experience in or exposure to ITIL environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff and delegates.
• Prepare IT facilities and services for use and events.
• Act as a first point of contact for IT issues and requests.
