St Cyres School in Wales is seeking an IT Support Assistant to provide technical assistance to pupils, teaching staff and non-teaching staff. You will install, configure and maintain IT equipment and systems, including Microsoft, macOS, iOS and Google Workspace platforms.
The role is 37 hours per week, during term time, with a salary of £26,847–£27,274 per year. The post involves working in a busy school IT office environment, supporting teaching and learning across departments.

As well as state-of-the-art teaching facilities, the school has invested heavily in the IT infrastructure and equipment. The school has been awarded an Apple Distinguished School which recognises innovation, leadership and educational excellence with Apple technologies. The IT systems are a Microsoft, Apple and ChromeOS hybrid. Most of the specialist IT rooms are Microsoft PCs and the school's Admin Team operate in a Windows environment. Teaching staff and pupils use Apple equipment. The teachers also use this equipment to connect to the display screens in each classroom using AppleTV.
A very important part of the school's IT Strategy is that every pupil is equipped with an iPad. This iPad is used to support the pupils' learning. Pupils use their iPads in lessons and are able to take their iPads home.

Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 8:00am to 4pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00am to 3:30pm (Fri), 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time).
