Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on IT Technician in Washington to provide effective IT support across the business. The role covers desktop/server support, networks, telephony, M365, hardware/software, and IT projects to keep systems secure and running smoothly.

The successful candidate will handle daily checks, incident management, and regular maintenance, with opportunities for professional development and exposure to diverse IT environments.

Qualifications

• Proven IT support experience in a hands-on role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop/server OS.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, AD and GPO.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily IT checks and maintenance, including backup verification and server room checks.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for users.
• Manage IT incidents and change requests via IT Service Desk.
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment with license compliance.
• Support new starters/leavers (PC, phone, workstation moves).
• Patch PCs/servers within required compliance timescales.
• Support IT projects and assist other departments.
