PK Education Limited is seeking an IT Technician to support a school in Durham. The role starts ASAP and runs at least until Christmas, offering a great chance to keep IT systems running smoothly and assist staff and pupils daily.
You will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, set up and maintain equipment, manage user accounts, and log support requests while working with a supportive team in a school environment.

You will provide day-to-day IT support to staff and pupils, troubleshoot technical issues and help maintain the school's IT equipment and systems.
Provide technical support for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
Set up, maintain and repair computers, laptops, printers and classroom IT equipment.
Assist with user accounts, passwords and access permissions.
Install and update software and support routine system maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of equipment and technical support requests.
Communicate clearly with staff and pupils to resolve IT problems efficiently.
The successfull candidate will have
Previous experience in an IT technician or technical support role.
Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and common hardware and networking issues.
Strong troubleshooting, organisation and communication skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Experience in a school or education setting would be advantageous.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
