Are you a qualified IT Teacher looking for a supply opportunity in Bristol starting ASAP?

Monarch Education is recruiting a confident and reliable IT Teacher to support a school in Bristol on a supply basis. We are looking for an adaptable teacher who can deliver engaging IT and Computing lessons, support pupils’ digital skills and provide high-quality teaching during assignments.

The role

As an IT Teacher, you will deliver lessons across the IT and Computing curriculum in line with the school’s expectations. You may be required to deliver pre-planned lessons, support practical computer-based activities, assess pupil progress, maintain safe and purposeful learning environments and contribute positively to the wider school team.

You will be:

• Delivering engaging IT and Computing lessons across the school
• Supporting pupils with digital literacy, software use and problem-solving skills
• Managing computer-based classroom activities safely and effectively
• Maintaining a calm, purposeful and well-managed learning environment
• Following school policies, curriculum guidance and safeguarding procedures
• Building positive working relationships with pupils and staff
• Providing continuity of learning during supply assignments

We are looking for teachers who are:

• Qualified with UK QTS
• Experienced teaching IT or Computing within a UK school setting
• Confident managing practical lessons and classroom behaviour
• Flexible, organised and dependable
• Able to take on supply work in Bristol
• Available to start ASAP
• Strong communicators who can quickly become part of a school team

Requirements:

• UK QTS
• Relevant IT or Computing teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
