Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a reliable DT Teacher for a Bristol-based supply role starting ASAP. You will deliver Design & Technology lessons across the curriculum, support practical activities, assess pupil progress and contribute to a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds UK QTS, has DT teaching experience in a UK school, and can start immediately. This is a supply placement with flexible hours and opportunities for CPD within our network.

Qualifications

• Qualified with UK QTS and experience teaching Design & Technology in a UK school setting.
• Confident delivering practical DT lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage pupils across age groups.

Responsibilities

Are you a qualified DT Teacher looking for a supply opportunity in Bristol starting ASAP?

Monarch Education is recruiting a confident and reliable DT Teacher to support a school in Bristol on a supply basis. We are looking for an adaptable teacher who can deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons, support practical learning and provide high-quality teaching during assignments.

The role

As a DT Teacher, you will deliver lessons across the Design and Technology curriculum in line with the school’s expectations. You may be required to deliver pre-planned lessons, support practical classroom activities, assess pupil progress, maintain safe learning environments and contribute positively to the wider school team.

You will be:

• Delivering engaging DT lessons across the school
• Supporting practical Design and Technology activities safely and effectively
• Encouraging pupil creativity, problem-solving and technical skills
• Maintaining a calm, purposeful and well-managed learning environment
• Following school policies, curriculum guidance and safeguarding procedures
• Building positive working relationships with pupils and staff
• Providing continuity of learning during supply assignments

We are looking for teachers who are:

• Qualified with UK QTS
• Experienced teaching DT within a UK school setting
• Confident managing practical lessons and classroom behaviour
• Flexible, organised and dependable
• Able to take on supply work in Bristol
• Available to start ASAP
• Strong communicators who can quickly become part of a school team

Requirements:

• UK QTS
• Relevant DT teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete registration, compliance and safeguarding checks
