Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Support professional in the United Kingdom to provide first-line support, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and manage incidents both remotely and on-site. The role requires visiting customer locations as needed and maintaining clear communication on ticket progress to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in IT support, strong Microsoft 365 knowledge (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), familiarity

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT support role.
• Experience implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Experience with Intune, RMM and VoIP/telephony systems.
• Networking knowledge including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches and routers.
• Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022) and Azure deployment.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support and act as the primary contact for customers.
• Visit customer locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues when required.
• Log, manage and update incidents via the service management platform.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding ticket progress.
• Escalate critical issues to senior leadership where appropriate.
• Prioritise and manage daily workload effectively.
• Monitor customer environments and ensure optimal system performance.
• Install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software solutions.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and maintain service records.
• Support incidents remotely and on-site.
