Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking an IT Support Technician to join a growing managed IT services provider in North East Hampshire. The role covers 1st and 2nd line support, with salary up to £38,000 DOE, and a permanent full-time contract.

You will troubleshoot across Windows, hardware, software, and connectivity while supporting Microsoft 365. A UK driving licence is helpful for occasional customer visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support, helpdesk or service desk role.
• Practical approach to troubleshooting and genuine interest in technology.
• Clear communication, patience and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing requests without losing composure.
• Full UK driving licence for occasional visits.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st and 2nd line support by phone, service desk, and on-site support.
• Troubleshooting Windows, hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Supporting Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Helping with user accounts, permissions, passwords and MFA.
• Keeping tickets updated and informing customers.
• Getting involved in onboarding, device setup and technical projects.
