Job summary

Slice Solutions LTD is seeking an IT Support Technician in Dinnington, near Sheffield, to join a growing MSP. You’ll handle first-line IT support, manage tickets, and contribute to a friendly, learning-focused team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting end users, administering Microsoft 365, device provisioning with Intune, and occasional onsite visits. A background in Windows, 365, and networking, plus a drive for learning, will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Some IT support experience or apprenticeship.
• Grounding in Windows and Microsoft 365, or a keen interest to learn them.
• Basic networking concepts (IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi).
• Excellent customer service, patient and clear communication.
• Full driving licence for occasional client visits.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, emails and tickets from end users; log, prioritise and update tickets.
• Diagnose and resolve first-line issues (password resets, MFA, Outlook/Teams, printers, basic Windows/connectivity).
• Microsoft 365 user administration: add/remove users, licences, mailboxes, permissions.
• Prepare and deploy devices, including Intune enrolment; training provided.
• Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line and learn from resolutions.
• Keep client documentation and knowledge base up to date.
• Occasional onsite visits to set up equipment or support users.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance service.
