Job summary

Slice Solutions LTD. in Dinnington, South Yorkshire, is hiring an IT Support Technician into a growing MSP. You'll be the first line of contact for clients, logging and tracking incidents and delivering friendly, clear assistance.

The role focuses on Windows and Microsoft 365, password resets, devices, and basic networking, with on-site visits and a clear path to 2nd line. Training and certifications are supported, and you’ll join a small, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or helpdesk, including password resets and basic IT tasks.
• Good grounding in Windows and Microsoft 365, with willingness to learn.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi).

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, emails, and tickets from end users and log, prioritise, update tickets.
• Diagnose and resolve first-line issues (password resets, MFA, Outlook/Teams, printers, and basic Windows connectivity).
• Administer Microsoft 365 users: add new starters, licences, mailboxes, permissions.
• Prepare and deploy laptops/desktops, including Intune enrolment.
• Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line and learn from resolution.
• Keep client documentation and knowledge base up to date.
• Occasional onsite visits to set up equipment or support users.
• Suggest improvements to client processes and service.
