Equals One Ltd is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their Dinnington-based MSP. You’ll handle first-line IT support, learn on the job, and become part of a growing team.

Salary is c.£25,000–£26,000, with opportunities to advance as you gain skills in Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune and network basics. This role involves occasional onsite visits and close collaboration with engineers to improve client service.

Qualifications

• Some experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Grounding in Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi).
• Excellent customer service and ability to explain tech to non-technical people.
• Organised, reliable and punctual with good time-keeping.
• Willingness to learn and solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Answer calls, emails and tickets; log, prioritise and update records clearly.
• Diagnose and resolve first-line issues (password resets, MFA, Outlook/Teams, printers).
• Administer Microsoft 365 users: add/remove starters/leavers, licences, mailboxes.
• Prepare and deploy laptops/desktops, including Intune enrolment.
• Escalate complex issues to higher level engineers with clear notes.
• Keep client documentation and knowledge base up to date.
• Occasional onsite visits to set up equipment or support users.
• Suggest improvements to processes and service.
