Job summary

GreatFind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support within a school environment in Croydon, London. You will support teaching and learning by maintaining the IT infrastructure and assisting users with technical issues.

The role is based in Croydon with a salary of £25,000 - £28,000. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate, with ongoing training and development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 in an education environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2019/2022/2025 administration and maintenance.
• Experience with wired/wireless networks, firewalls and content filtering.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to staff and users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer and maintain the school's IT systems and network.
• Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and AV equipment.
• Keep users informed during the resolution process.
