Job summary

Carters, Inc. is seeking an IT School Technician for Eastbourne, onsite, with a circa £30,000 salary. You will troubleshoot and resolve first and second-line issues for schools near Eastbourne, working to support staff and students.

You will manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365, support Windows 10/11 across multiple sites, maintain school networks and devices, and contribute to infrastructure projects. Some travel between nearby towns may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support experience in a school or the education industry
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
• Networking experience: switches, routers, LAN/WAN, wireless technologies
• Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff
• Experience with virtualised environments (VMware, vSphere, or similar) is highly desirable

Job DescriptionIT School Technician - Eastbourne - £30K (Onsite)The OpportunityI'm working with one of the UK's biggest MSP's to look for an experienced IT School Technician near Eastbourne. The IT School Technician will troubleshoot and resolve first and second line issues for a couple of schools close to Eastbourne. You will have excellent stakeholder management experience on top of extensive experience with windows server, networking, Microsoft and mobile device management technologies.This is a strong next step for someone with school-based IT support experience who wants to develop technically and gain exposure to more advanced systems.

This role can be commutable from Eastbourne, Hastings, Uckfield, Lewes and Bexhill-on-Sea

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
