Essex County Council is recruiting an IT Support Officer for Rochford District Council on a full-time, temporary contract. The role is on-site at Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford, with hours Monday–Thursday 08:30–17:00 and Friday 08:30–16:30.

You will join the IT Team to provide first-line and first-class Technical Service Desk support, work with Microsoft technologies, undertake hardware commissioning and decommissioning, and deliver excellent customer service with

Full-Time, Temporary – 37 hours per week

3-Month Contract

£15.99 PAYE / £20.51 Umbrella

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Rochford District Council in recruiting an IT Support Officer on a full-time, temporary basis.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only.

Working Location: Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford, SS4 1YH

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday; 08:30am-17:00pm / Friday: 08:30am-16:30pm

The work will be a variety of support tasks, hardware commissioning and decommissioning and general IT Support

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies required and ITIL would be advantageous.
