Job summary

Rochford District Council is seeking an IT Support Officer to join the on-site IT team on a full-time, three-month contract. Based at Launchpad, you will work with the Technical Analyst to deliver first-line technical service and customer support.

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is required, ITIL knowledge would be advantageous. The role covers hardware provisioning, decommissioning and general IT support within the Digital, Data and Technology directorate.

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Rochford District Council in recruiting an IT Support Officer on a full-time, temporary basis.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only.

Working Location: Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford, SS4 1YH

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday; 08:30am-17:00pm / Friday: 08:30am-16:30pm

The work will be a variety of support tasks, hardware commissioning and decommissioning and general IT Support

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies required and ITIL would be advantageous.
