Job summary

Rochford District Council is seeking an IT Support Officer to join the on-site IT Team in Rochford, Essex. This full-time, temporary role offers 37 hours per week across a 3-month contract, with office-based work at Launchpad, Airport Business Park.

You will deliver first-line technical service desk support, assist with hardware provisioning and decommissioning, and apply good customer service with a technical approach. Knowledge of Microsoft tech and ITIL is advantageous.

Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Rochford District Council in recruiting an IT Support Officer on a full-time, temporary basis.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only.

Working Location: Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Cherry Orchard Way, Rochford, SS4 1YH

Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday; 08:30am-17:00pm / Friday: 08:30am-16:30pm

The work will be a variety of support tasks, hardware commissioning and decommissioning and general IT Support

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies required and ITIL would be advantageous.
