Job summary

EMS Healthcare in Chester is seeking an IT Engineer to provide hands-on 1st/2nd line support across the IT environment, ensuring colleagues have reliable, secure access to systems and services.

You will help with incident resolution, device provisioning, M365 admin, and IT security controls while collaborating with colleagues, suppliers and the IT team. Travel may be required and a driving license is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or service desk roles.
• Experience with Windows devices and Microsoft 365.
• Experience managing user accounts, permissions and business apps.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st & 2nd line IT support for colleagues and resolve incidents promptly.
• Build, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles and printers.
• Administer user accounts, AD groups and M365 access changes.
• Support Microsoft 365 services and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT asset records and assist onboarding/offboarding.
• Create clear technical documentation and support guides.
• Assist with IT projects and rollout of new technologies.
