Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an IT Support Professional for their growing technology team in the South West. This broad role covers 1st/2nd line support, end-user devices, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.

You'll work across the business delivering high-quality technical assistance, maintaining Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, and supporting projects while upholding security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support or similar technical support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
• Experience supporting users in a busy business environment.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing hardware, software and end-user devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to support.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
• Experience with SQL would be very advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the organisation.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, user accounts and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and system-related issues.
• Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business-critical systems and infrastructure.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent support experience.
• Maintain security best practices and help ensure systems remain compliant and up to date.
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
