Job summary

EMS Healthcare IT Engineer role is hands-on, delivering reliable, secure access to systems and services for colleagues. You will resolve incidents, support day-to-day IT operations and contribute to IT projects.

You will work with internal teams and suppliers to troubleshoot issues, maintain assets, document processes and support onboarding and offboarding, with a proactive approach to improving IT services.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support or service desk experience in a desktop or infrastructure role.
• Experience with Windows devices, Microsoft 365, user accounts and common business apps.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking and remote access.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st & 2nd line technical support for colleagues, resolving incidents and service requests.
• Build, configure, deploy and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices and printers.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, groups and access changes across Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, VPN, Wi‑Fi and network issues across locations.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records from procurement to disposal.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and provisioning/removing access per security procedures.
• Apply routine security controls, including MFA and endpoint protection checks, and escalate incidents.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support guides and knowledge articles.
• Assist IT projects, system improvements and rollout of new technologies.
