Job summary

Amazon's IT Services team in the United Kingdom is seeking an on-site IT Support Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms in a corporate setting.

You will provide on-call support for high-severity incidents, assist with outages, manage IT asset inventories, mentor colleagues, and participate in change management to maintain high availability and service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux in a corporate setting.
• 2+ years of technical experience in a corporate environment supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred CS/IT degree.
• Proficient in English; strong customer-facing skills.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site, hands-on IT support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Provide on-call support for high-severity incidents and act as escalation point.
• Assist with triaging and escalating system or network outages to reduce downtime.
• Understand and execute change management activities in a high-availability environment.
• Participate in hiring efforts, training, and mentoring peers.
• Continuously expand skills and maintain knowledge of IT policies.
