Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to maintain IT infrastructure and support end-user devices across operational sites. You will work on-site, travel to other sites as needed, and contribute to network projects and site launches.

You will mentor colleagues, implement improvements, and ensure systems run with high availability across the country and beyond. A strong English level and relevant certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high-availability environment.
• Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• Experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.
• Experience with networking tech (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
• Experience with Windows Server technologies.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user equipment and your building’s IT infrastructure.
• Help with key network projects, like the IT setup of new Amazon buildings.
• Suggest new processes that improve the way Amazon uses IT in its operational sites.
• Train and mentor IT technicians.
