Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd. is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Manchester to join an established IT team supporting around 500 employees across a national branch network.

The role is hands-on, acting as the main escalation point for 1st Line while collaborating with a 2nd Line Technician on infrastructure issues and improvement projects. The candidate should combine strong technical ability with excellent customer service and take ownership of problems through to resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Proficient in Entra ID / Active Directory.
• Experience with Intune and device management.
• Strong Windows support and VDI skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for 1st Line support.
• Diagnose and resolve 2nd Line infrastructure and user issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID and Windows environments.
• Administer Intune, Autopilot and NinjaOne.
• Support VMware VDI across a branch environment (~240 users).
• Assist with networks, firewalls and switches.
• Work with Palo Alto and Juniper technologies.
• Assist Veeam backups and broader infrastructure techs.
• Investigate root causes and reduce recurring issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects and IT transformation.
• Follow change-control and security processes.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation.
