Are you a IT Support Engineer looking for a new challenge role? We are looking for a candidate to join our clients small IT team based in Bolton supporting 48 retail shops around the northwest.

You will also be involved with providing support to internal Business Systems dealing with incidents, queries and requests at their head office. The primary role will be to provide support to our existing EPOS system and retail stores including training staff throughout the northwest.

The candidate must have practical knowledge in Microsoft SQL.

As the IT Support Engineer, your duties will include;

• Providing face to face and remote support
• Monitor and maintain the company’s servers and network including hardware and software
• Installation and configuration of a variety of Hardware, Software and Applications etc
• Managing and maintaining our existing EPOS software –(Training Given)
• Work pro-actively in the department to help minimise any future problems.

As an IT Support Engineer , your skills and experience should consist of:

Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server (2012, 2019), VMWare, Veeam, MobileIron(MDM), CCTV along with switches, DNS, DHCP, VLAN along with i nstalling , configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops and servers . Experience with cloud services (Office 365, Microsoft Azure) and ERP solutions would be a plus. The above list is not exhaustive as the role may change from time to time to meet the requirements of the company.

The ideal candidate must own a car with a clean driving licence and be willing to travel to retail outlets although a pool car will be available during the week.
